Carol – Founder of Moto Fanatics

I am Carol, founder of Moto Fanatics, and Mum to 2 amazing children, 1 of whom is a crazy obsessed motorcycle racer.

Our family lives and breathes motorcycling!

Motorcycling is something of an obsession in our household (much to my daughters disgust!!). My husband has always been a mad motorcycle fanatic, racing dirt bikes as a kid, and as an adult spending many days at the road racing track and on the weekends riding for leisure.

After finding his feet on dirt bikes, our son started road racing back in 2018 at the age of 9, and quickly worked his way to the front of his sport, and now races at an international level. For the longest time now I can’t recall a day when motorcycling was not the main thing discussed in our household.

Safety gear is THE most important part to racing

As a Mum, allowing your young child to participate in a pretty dangerous sport, currently racing at speeds in excess of 200kph, is hard. So having the best safety gear is the most important thing. Having that feeling of confidence that every time he goes out on track, he will be as protected and risk as little as possible is always at the forefront of my mind. Being so youg and quickly growing, means that he is always quickly growing out of his gear, so it is important to always keep on top of the correct sizing for optimal safety. I have seen firsthand the consequences that can arise from not having the correct safety equipment, so want to share from my experiences and use of products.

My goal is to make people as safe as possible while enjoying the amazing world of motorcycling

My goal is to help people find the best safety gear available. Motorcycling is an amazing activity, whether that be racing, or riding for leisure, in the dirt or on the road track, but without the correct gear, what could be a minor accident that can be walked away from, can easily turn to serious injury if the correct gear is not worn.

Enjoy your sport, have an amazing time, but know that you are safe and well protected whilst doing so!

If you ever need a hand or have any questions, feel free to leave them below and I will be more than happy to help you out.

All the best,
